"Ei to Prithibi Sei to Jibon": With Bengali Association of Greater Chicago (BAGC): February 16th, 2019 (collaborative work)

"Ei To Prithibi Sei to Jibon": This performing art presentation was based on We-Amra part 1 project's one of the learning concepts "Love your mother earth" depicting the eternal cycle of life of mother earth, reflecting her beauty & blessings, presenting her creative & destructive mood in various creative movements and songs. This is also a musical expression of our promise to save our dying mother nature and thus protecting humans. This was presented by children and young adults from Chicago and a guest artist from Kansas City (Dr.Dithi Banerjee). This event was organized in collaboration with BAGC (Bengali Community of Greater Chicago). It was an exciting and challaging event as it was completely organized and cordinated remotely. We-Amra project cordinator/collaborator: Dr. Nivedita Ganguly/Mr. Nirmalya Roy with organizers of BAGC. A significant number of children were involved in the learning process of We-Amra project under guidance of local dance director: Tanima Ganguli Mukherjee and music mentor: Manabendra Sarkar. Over all program desinging, script writing and presentation and lyrics by Dr. Nivedita Ganguly. music composer: Nirmalya Roy, (orinal album singers: Students of Music Mantra Institute, Kolkata,India), program hosts were Nikhil Basu and Sanchali Banerjee from Chicago. On Behalf of We-Amra, we acknowledge the hard work of local mentors, children and whole BAGC team to make it possible and make it gorgeous.
