"Janani": A Tribute to Mother Tongue..... is a performing art presentation based on content of We-Amra book part 1 and music album on the learning concept "Love your mother tongue". In this particular event, before offering tribute to Bengali language ..Some musical offerenings were presented to other mother tongue including a Carnatic classical song (Directed by Lekha Menon and presented by her troupe), a Spanish song (presented by Sanandi Banerjee) and Snaskrit language (dance format: Choreography by Dr.Soma Ray and presented by her group).They were followed by children presentations based on We-amra project's educational content in the form of music and dance. Several children participated under guidance of dance mentor: Sonali Choudhury and music mentor: Sarmistha Banerjee. This was ended by Saraswasti Vandada: Choreography and presentation by Dr. Dithi Banerjee. All We-Amra songs, lyrisict: Dr. Nivedita Ganguly, music composer: Nirmalya Roy, singers: Nirmalya Roy and rising artists of Music Mantra Institute, Kolkata, India. Over all program designing and script writing and anchoring: Dr. Nivedita Ganguly. This event is supported by local community.
