We-Amra Bangla Pathshala Saraswati Pujo:

This  celebration was innovatively formatted keeping the key elements of this festival for better understanding by the NRI Bengali children. This is part of educational curriculum of We-Amra Bangla pathshala (Kochipata): "Learning through Celebration". This was conducted with a simple process starting with Devi Amontron, Sajsojja, Bhog, Devi Aaradhona by using various expressions of creative art forms. Some basic rituals were maintained in worshipping Devi the form of Nirtyanjali, Devi Stuti, Suranjali, Pushpanjali, Aaroti, Pranam Mantra & Bisarjan. Saraswati Murti was also crafted here in Kansas city from scratch by Dr. Nivedita Ganguly, the founder of Kochipata Bangla Pathshala. She also conceptualized this festival in a unique way using various creative art forms to inolve children to learn their culture, tradition, social values through celebration. All children of Kochipata actively participated in this celebration and conducted the process of devi aradhona under guidance. Besides children and parents of Kochipata pathshala other friends and community memebers also joined this celebration. Every member of Kochipata pathshala played their valuable role to make this celebration successful. This was followed by cultural event persented by students and mentors of Kochipata.
