"Melodies of Mother Tongue": Celebration of Life event : Edwards Campus, Kansas City: August 11, 2018
Melodies of Mother Tongue: This cultural event was based on one of the major learning concepts of We-Amra part 1 project: "Let us love our mother tongue" This was presented as collage of orginal songs and poems of We-Amra book & music album in the form of dance/music/recitation. Significant number of young children learnt the concept through series of lerning sessions under guidance of We-Ama mentors: Music mentor: Sarmitha Banerjee, Dance mentor: Sonali Choudhury, Sneha Banerjee, Recitation: By: Sanandi Banerjee along with Dr. Nivedita Ganguly. It was a fun program for little children. Ms. Paromita Chakrabory entertained these little perfomers by distributing goodies at the end of the program.
Over all program designing, script writing, presentation and lyrics by Dr. Nivedita Ganguly and music composer: Nirmalya Roy.
