We-Amra project was conceptualized by Dr, Nivedita Ganguly (Kansas City, USA) and Mr. Nirmalya Roy (Kolkata, India) for childern welfare and enrichment providing education through music, various creative art forms and various useful hands on activities. We-Amra project (Part 1) was intended to raise awareness and love among children of various ethnic backgound towards mother earth, mother tongue and peace & harmony. These are universal educational concepts for global children. We-Amra project encourages all children to learn these essential educational concepts to make this world a better place with a sustaintable healthy environment. We-Amra project encourages all children to know their mother tongue and roots to maintain diversity thus unity.

We-amra book is writen in Bengali language along with English translation and phonetic expressions for each literary item and the songs are sung in Bengali language. We-Amra book and music album provide a great opportunity to the NRI Bengali childern to learn their mother tongue, culture, traditions. history, heritage and their true identity, Through this musical journey Bengali language may attain an international recognition to maintain language diversity globally.
