Dr. Ganguly is originally from India, currently residing in USA with her family over last the past 25 years. She is a physician by profession with great passion for teaching. She earned her MD degrees in Medical Microbiology (India) as well as in Internal Medicine (USA). She completed her fellowship in Infectious Diseases from the University of Kansas Medical Center in the United States. She is very passionate about writing (poems, lyrics, stories), painting, music and various creative art forms. She loves and respects children, Mother Nature, birds, animals and people. She is the author, and illustrator of the “We-Amra” book. She is the lyricist of all We-Amra songs. She is the founder of “We-Amra Inc.” and one of the creators of “We-Amra” children’s project with her Indian collaborator, Mr.Nirmalya Roy. She is the founder and principal educator of We-Amra Bangla school (in the form of pathshala), Kochipata in Kansas city, USA, She is the creator and host for various We-Amra activitiy forums for children and adults. Mr. Roy is from India and lives in Kolkata with his wife. Music is his profession, passion and more than his life. He is a professional stage & playback singer (Bengali & Hindi movies), music composer, music director, “Sa-Re-Ga-Ma-Pa” (Indian musical reality TV show) voice groomer, mentor & judge, and an international performer. He has worked with the legendary Pandit Ravi Shankar and many iconic figures of the music world both from India and the United States. He has great contribution to world music (served as music faculty:Urbanan Champagne university, community workshops: USA), Flat Earth Emsemble: USA, World music festival: Chicago, Color of Fusion: Muscat, National Bengali music conference, USA). He is the founder of the “Music Mantra Institute, India”, a global musical platform. He has been teaching music for many years through MMI. He loves children, Mother Nature, birds, animals and people. He is one of the creators and Indian collaborator of We-Amra project. He is the music composer, singer, music director of the “We-Amra” music album. He is the co-founder of We-Amra, Inc with Dr. Nivedita Ganguly (USA). He is a strong believer and promotor of good music, cultural diversity, unity and global peace. He believes that music is one and for all. He is not only a musician but a social reformer and likes to use music in education beyond just entertainment.

Ms. Ward was born and raised in the state of Kansas in the United States. She is residing in Kansas City, USA for many years. She works as the logistics coordinator at “Care Beyond the Boulevard, Inc.” who provides quality medical health care to the homeless of Kansas City. She serves as a nurse with the street medicine team. She loves cultural diversity. She is a strong believer of sharing, caring and charity. She is a strong promotor of children, unity and global peace.

Lead Choreographer, dancer and mentor : We-Amra Creative Forum: "Dance"
Dr. Dithi Banerjee is a microbiologist (PhD) by profession. She is orginally from India but currently living in USA. She is passionate about both science and dance. She is an well trained Odissi dancer under the tutelage of Guru Muralidhar Majhi and Vidushi Poushali Mukherjee. She is an extremely talented choreographer and she creates her original styles infusing various Indian classical dance forms with folk and contemporary styles. She created a dance group named Nrityashaala with her danseuse friends from University of Buffalo and perfomred in several shows accross USA including in Banga Sammelon (National Bengali cultural conference, USA). She loves to mentor children. Currently she is enjyoing her creative passion in participating in various We-Amra cultural programs as lead choreographer, performer as well as mentor for both chidlren as well as adults. She feels so far journey has been enriching and rewarding with We-Amra platform.

Ms. Sonali Bose resides in India (New Delhi). She is an extremely well educated and talented artist. Art is her passion and profession. She received master’s degree in Fine Arts from Kalabhavan, Santiniketan, Visva bharati University. She received U.G.C scholarships multiple times. She received West Bengal State Academy award, 1993 and Camlin all India Art teachers award, 2006. She participated in multiple solo and group art exhibitions in India & Abroad. Currently she is teaching arts. She served as judge for We-Amra global drawing contest. She is also works as advisor for art and designing for We-Amra Projects as necessary.
Dr. Soma Ray

Dr, Soma Ray is a senior scientist by profession, currently works at University of Kansas Medical Center. She earned her PhD degree in Biophysics, Molecular Biology and Genetics from Calcutta University. Besides her laboratory works she loves cooking, gardening, drawing, dancing and stiching. She loves working with children of various age groups. She enjoys outdoor activities and loves nature. She also believes, children who are born and brought up outside their own country should know their true identiy and roots. She likes teaching, she plays her role as one of the educators of We-Amra Bangla educational platform (Kochipata), She is also a passiate dancer. She is involved in choreography, mentoring children and performing herself in various We-Amra performing art presentations locally and beyond.

Ms. Deepa Kanjilal is born and brought up in India, but eventually she moved to USA. Currently resides in Kansas City (USA) with her family. She studied Mathmethics and Science in collage. Although she has great passion for these subjects, she chose to be a house maker and wanted to dedicate all her time for her children and family. She is very passionate about arts and desinging.and she enjoyes working with children. She is the lead mentor for teaching arts and crafts for children of We-Amra Bangla Pathshala and other community children as necessary. She also get involved with various creative art works at the time of We-Amra cultural events. She wants to fulfil her strong passion of arts and designing through We-Amra platform.

Ms, Sangita Bhattacharyya is orginally from Kolkata, India, currently residing in Kansas City, USA with her family. She obtained master degree in science from India. She is an avid Bengali reciter. She has been associated with KalaKhetram, Manishi Charcha Kendra (Koklata, India) to persue her passion as reciter. She was invited by various organizations in Kolkata, India as well as USA for performances. Currently she is involved in mentoring children of We-Amra Bangla pathshala (Kochipata) and other children of local community. She likes to enrich her own passion of recitation by performing and mentoring children through We-Amra platform.

Ms. Sonali Choudhury was born in city of Udaipur (India). She obtained MA degree in Public Administration (India), MSc in Botany (India) and MS in Molecular Biology (USA). She worked as a high school teacher for several years, Currently she works as scientist in Cancer Biology at University of Knasas Medical Center, USA. Besides her passion for studies, she is a passionate dancer. She had formal training in Kathak dance for 4 years starting at very young age from Guru Shri Badri Prasad of Jaipur Gharana. She was introduced to rich Bengali culture and literature by her parents while residing outside Bengal and she was given opportunity to learn Rabindra Nitrya. Currently, she is residing in Kansas city with her family and she is persuing her dance training here from Guru Garima Yadav. Besides dance, she got opportunity to learn Hindustani Classical music from Guru Neelima Sharma for three years at Sangeet Natya Niketan Academy of Udaipur. She is an experienced and talented choreographer, dance mentor and performer. She is a strong supporter of We-Amra projects and she loves to work with children. She wants to enjoy her passion of dance in terms of being a performer, choreographer and mentor of Bengla pathshala "Kochipata" children and other community children on this platform. She is also a volunteer worker for the community blood drives in association with American Red Cross.

She is passionate about teaching We-Ama educational songs and other music to the children of Kochipata Bangla Pathshala and other community children as necessary. Amitabh Choudhury is orginally from India, presently residing in Kansas city, USA. He obtained MBA degree from University of Missouri-Kansas City, and has Marketing & Sales experience of more than 25 years. He is currently working in Liberty Hotel Group as Management Analyst in Kansas City. Besides his work he is very passionate about music and arts. He is a well trained tabla player under gudance of several gurujis from India including Jasoda Dulal Das (father of famous Bengali singer Shubhomita Banerjee: West Bengal,India), Pt. Vishnu Sevak Mishra (Banaras Gharana) who believed in Guru-Shishya Parampara. Amitabh finished B. Music at the age of sixteen. Later, he also got opportunity to be trained in Lucknow Gharana from Bhatkhande Music College, Lucknow, India. Amitabh accompanied many accomplished classical and contemporary musicians like Pt. Nayan Ghosh (Sitarist), Mahesh Kale, Kalpana Jokarkar, Samir Date, Nirmalya Roy, Sunil Mungee and many Sa Re Ga Ma Pa vocalists. On We-Amra platform, he likes to enrich himself and our younger generation with music and his favorite art form: percussion.

Ms. Debjani Roychoudhury is originally from India. She had the opportunity to travel and reside in many places including France, Nigeria, Canada, Indonesia, and Australia.Currently she is residing in Kansas City with her family for last several years. She completed her BA degree in Arts including special training in Education. She received teaching certification from Brock University, Canada. She worked as primary school teacher at various places and also involved in teaching elementary school special needs children. Music is her passion. She spent many years learning Indian classical music while she was India. She loves to work with senior citizens and children. She is a strong supporter of We-Amra project. Besides nurturing her music passion, she also likes to work for senior citizens for their welfare and benefit project through We-Amra platform. She plays her role as co-host for We-Amra Activitiy Forum for Seniors with Dr. Nivedita Ganguly, initiation & host of the fourm.
